How do I add users to the platform?

You can add users to the platform both through admin or creator accounts either within a particular course/group or adding them for the Users tab.

Before you start make sure you are logged in as an admin or creator, here is a guide regarding how to switch between your user account and the admin/creator account: Link to article

Option 1.
Inviting through the user tab


1) Open the Users Tab


2) Press Invite user into platform


3) In this view you can either add one user at a time or upload a csv file.


If you choose to upload in a csv file you can download an example setup of the file.



Option 2.
Inviting directly into a group/course


1. Open the course/Group you want to add the users into


2. If the course/group is versioned then you will next pick which version you are inviting into



3. Press the tab Users


4. Click Add Users where you will be able to choose if you want to invite an existing user or invite new users


5. If you are inviting new users to the platform then you can choose either to add one at a time or upload a csv file


6. You can download an example structure for the csv file





When the users receive the invites they will automatically get temporary passwords in the email they can use to log in for the first time but will be asked to create a new one.
