Definition:

Learner Progress Tracking is a monitoring feature (general category) that enables teachers to view detailed insights into a student's engagement and performance within a specific activity (distinguishing feature), such as a Quiz. It provides data on the number of attempts, best scores, and question-level performance.

Preparation:

  • You are logged in as a Creator.

  • The desired Topic and Activity (e.g., Quiz) have already been created and assigned to learners.

  • Users have begun or completed the activity.

How to: Track Learner Progress in a Quiz

  1. Navigate to the ”Progress” tab.

  2. Click on the ”Activities” sub-tab.

  3. Select the activity to track progress.

  4. Select the status of the learner in the activity.

  5. Scroll the side block to check detailed information about the attempt in the activity.

Result:

The side block displays comprehensive details, including:

  • Activity Details:

    • Activity type (e.g., Quiz, Assignment)

    • Description of the activity

  • User Progress:

    • Current status (e.g., Not Started, In Progress, Completed)

    • Completion date (if applicable)

    • Total number of attempts

    • Best attempt (based on score)

    • Breakdown of performance on each individual question

This overview allows you to analyze individual users performance and provide targeted feedback or interventions as needed.
